The Ratz had a tough day fishing out of Tydings today as 6 boats and 10 anglers braved the high northerly winds at 15 to 18 mph, gusting to over 25 mph! The temps during this sunny day were in the 60’s with the water temps around 67 degrees. Only 2 limits were brought to the scale. Kevin Maccallini takes the dub as he topped the scales with a 11.66-lb sack. Ken Eng follows with a one-pound deficit, earning second place for the day. Larry Kunkel rounds the standings with an 8.15-lb string, anchored by the 3.33-lb tnx lunker. Nice job Kevin maccallini!
Another tough day was had for the Ratz as they fished the Gunpowder River out of Mariner Pt. On this day, out of the 6 boats and 10 anglers who participated in this 3rd tnx of the season, no one came in with a limit! The water temperature increased about 10 degrees during the week warming the water to the upper 70s! The day was breezy out of the southwest, with temperatures topping out at 90 degrees. In the end, Kevin Beaudean, takes the dub with an 8.03-lb, three fish stringer. Mark Silvia earns the lunker bucks and 2nd place with a 3.02-lb LMB, while Paul Badders settles for a 3rd place finish!
It was a good day of fishing as 6 boats and 10 anglers blasted out of Flying Pt Marina to fish the 4th derby of the 2026 season. Under partly cloudy skies, it was a mild day as the air temps warmed up to 83 degrees with water temps around 80 degrees. Half the field came in with limits, but Paul Badders bested them all with a 14.43-lb sack after a late start. Ken Berry takes a 2nd place finish, while Dominick Grossi rounds the standings in 3rd place. Kevin Maccallini wins the lunker bucks with a 4.71-lb LMB!
The Ratz had a tough one today as 6 boats and 9 anglers blasted out of Tydings to fish its 5th club tournament of the year on the Upper Bay! No limits were had on a beautiful day on the water, with temperatures climbing in to the mid-80s, and water temps ranging from 80 to 86. Mark Silvia gets the dub with 3 fish for 13.75-lbs, anchored by the tnx lunker weighing 5.32-lbs! Matt Tserkis takes the second spot, while Larry Kunkel earns a 3rd place finish
