    Tournament #2 Recap 2025

5/17/25 Gunpowder River ( Mariner Pt)

The Ratz had their first club tournament of the 2025 season on the Gunpowder River under partly sunny conditions with SW winds 15 to 20 mph, and temperatures from 62 to 83.  The water temps ranged from 68 to 74 depending on location.  Out of 5 boats and 9 anglers, 3 limits were brought to the weigh-in.  Paul Badders starts the season off right, getting it done with a 15.26-lb sack, just barely edging out Larry Kunkel who took 2nd place by hundredths of a pound!  Kevin Beaudean showed a 3rd place effort, while his rider, Ken Berry, wins the lunker bucks with a 4.77-lb LMB.

      TOURNAMENT #3 RECAP 2025

        6/21/25 Upper Chesapeake Bay (Tydings)

The Ratz 2nd club tournament was a slugfest for the 5 boats and 7 competitors!  Almost everyone came in with a limit on a day with blue bird skies and competition for space on the water with the Ike Foundation Tnx!  The water temp was in the mid-70s and the air temps started in the upper 60s ending up in the upper 80s on a very calm day.  Paul Badders adds another W to his collection with a 11.88-lb sack of bass!  Kevin "Mac" Maccallini takes the lunker money and bested his boater, Mike Powers, earning 2nd and 3rd place, respectively.
